Patton also said moronic things like “its a good day to kill Germans”, as well as giving briefings in 1943 for US troops to kill enemy soldiers in Italy (Italian & Germans) if they had not surrendered by the time they got close to them, which led to several massacres of unarmed Italian and German prisoners. That he saw at the end of the war he was not part of anything good is a small solace.

The irony in 2023 is I think its possible for Europe to rebirth as independent sovereign nations, but England’s sphere is barely to the Channel anymore. While USA’s decomposition to separate States, or as a Brazil-Yugoslavian like dystopia is assured.
