The Drink of Despair

I am writing this entry from a borrowed computer. It now looks like I’ll need some time to stabilize my financial situation, probably overseas, to the point of resuming my blogging.

Meanwhile I’d like to add something to what I had said in previous entries, that in order to understand our woes you must purchase and read a copy of Tom Goodrich’s Hellstorm: The Death of Nazi Germany (1944-1947).

Readers of this book have complained a lot that a detailed account of the Allies’ atrocities committed during and after the Second World War—a true Holocaust of German victims—is too ghastly and painful to contemplate. The author himself told me that he died “a thousand deaths” while writing Hellstorm.

In his Archipelago Solzhenitsyn said that in prison you have to “eat a mountain” of pain to be able to metamorphose your soul instead of becoming mad, as other zeks became mad in the Gulag. He meant to cross the dark night of the soul all the way through the other side. Some passages of his book convey beautifully what I want to say here. However, since in these times very few young westerners have read Solzhenitsyn, I must find a metaphor to explain the same dilemma to a broader audience.

In the Harry Potter film when Dumbledore dies (a silly film but it makes my point), Dumbledore explains a mysterious potion, the Drink of Despair, to his pupil:
 

Harry: “You think the Horcrux is in there, sir?”

Dumbledore: “Oh yes. But how to reach it? This potion cannot be penetrated by hand… I can only conclude this potion is supposed to be drunk.”

Dumbledore drinks the potion to the point of experiencing extreme fear, delirium, and thirst but that was the only way to reach the Horcrux.

I would say the same about Hellstorm. If we are to find and destroy the Judeo-liberal Horcrux that presently is making our enemy invulnerable, there’s no other way but to endure the torment of reading Hellstorm from cover to cover.

You really got to drink that potion, and then talk with your pupil-friends about it, to understand the whys of the West’s darkest hour…

Trainspotter on Buchanan

Last year on the Occidental Observer Trainspotter said:

I can’t help having a bit of a soft spot for Buchanan. In some ways, I cut my political teeth as a teen by watching Crossfire back in the 80’s, and more importantly reading his column in my local paper. He was certainly a skilled debater and gifted writer, and while my own path soon led to the diversion of libertarianism, there is no question that Buchanan influenced me, and all things considered, for the better.

I particularly appreciated that his columns were laced with historical and literary allusions. As a teen in the pre-internet age, these references were invaluable to me and an important part of my education. It really set him apart from other columnists, as he captured the majesty of civilization in a seamless flow. Whatever one may think of Buchanan, he saw the world through rich historical eyes. For me, that was probably his greatest contribution.

Whatever punches he may have pulled, he was one of the few in the 80’s mainstream press that offered any substance at all. As time marched on, he became not merely one of the few, but the only. Now there are none.

With our “precious” freedom of the press, there is today not a single commentator in the mainstream that will advocate for whites at all. Not one.

Mainstream conservatism is unabashedly hostile to us and our worldview.

Of course, it’s possible that Buchanan will get another gig, and presumably he’ll continue his column for a time. The internet ensures that if he wants a voice, he can have at least a bit of one. But he’s no longer the vigorous firebrand of years gone by. He’s an old man now, and any comeback would simply amount to a swan song. Even if that happens, it would not alter the symbolic importance of what has transpired.

The real story, as Buchanan himself has more or less said, is not that he changed, but that America changed. Just a few decades ago, he probably represented the Silent Majority. I remember, as a kid in the 70’s and 80’s, when all white adults were politically incorrect, to put it mildly. This in a fairly prosperous, well educated and all white suburb.

But now, that world is gone. The people have been trained well, and even if they disagree with the PC orthodoxy, they know to keep it to themselves. And the all white suburbs of yore are now multiracial. Miscegenation is common, and white children few.

It’s a world in which Buchanan is irrelevant.

Now, at best, he represents a Silent Minority that shrinks by the day. I remember watching some of the Reform Party convention on C-Span back in 2000. The average age of the conventioneers appeared to be past 75. They were in pitiful condition: lots of wheelchairs and canes. If I hadn’t known better, I might have thought that I was viewing an event not merely at a retirement community, but a nursing home. It was sad, these representatives of an America that no longer existed. I couldn’t watch more than a few minutes of it at one sitting; what I saw genuinely disturbed me. What I saw when I went outside disturbed me even more.

Meanwhile, the non-whites continued to flood in, and leftist/jewish cultural levers continued to spew their poison.

It was obvious to me then that, whatever sentimental attachment that I might have had to it, Buchanan’s America was over. It had, at the very least, one foot in the grave. There was no longer any energy to it, or any real gravitas. Just the weary regret of old men who simply can’t believe that what is so obvious to them is not also obvious to everyone else. Old men with decent instincts, but who had absolutely no idea as to the nature and power of the forces arrayed against them, much less how to beat those forces. Old men who, I suspect in more than a few cases, returned from the convention to a home darkened by their mulatto grandchildren. All very, very sad. I suspect that a huge percentage of that 2000 crowd is now dead, along with their world.

The race blind mainstream conservatism that has displaced Buchanan’s more authentic flavor will itself suffer the same fate. Demographics are destiny, and the Jewish stranglehold on our key societal institutions remains unchecked.

Not to put too fine a point on it: it’s over.

To be a bit more precise, it’s over for traditional America, for Buchanan’s America. But it’s not over for us, in fact it’s only beginning.

We can still move forward, if we are able to let go of what is truly and well lost. Sad though it may be, America is one of those things.

White nationalism is all that is left, the only worldview that is capable of accurately identifying the existential crisis that we face, and the only worldview that offers a way forward… however long the odds. For all our faults and foibles, we if anything skew young, but at the very least have strong representation in all age groups. We have truth on our side, but more importantly, energy and the potential for real fanaticism. At the very least we are obsessives, and I mean that as a compliment.

There has been an ongoing debate within white nationalism between the “vanguardists” and the “mainstreamers.” I’ve always thought it was largely a false debate, but false or not, it is becoming moot. We aren’t welcome in the mainstream, and we’re not going to be welcome. There will be no long march through the institutions, as those doors are shut to us.

We’ve got to face the fact that we will not be allowed to reach the majority of the white population with our message. This, while tragic, is not fatal. Revolutionary ideas and movements are made by minorities, and we certainly can reach the more motivated, obsessive and fanatical of our people. Those are the people who, if we are to have a land of our own, will be instrumental in bringing it about. Only they, the “vanguard,” can get the ball rolling, and once they do, then the millions of our people who retain healthy racial instincts (and large numbers do) can enter into the equation. But we have to work with the tools and capabilities available to us, which means vanguardism by default. It is not a bad thing for that to become crystal clear to us. It’s a good thing.

So, despite my soft spot for Buchanan, his firing is probably a net positive. There should be no illusion that the system is anything other than hostile to us, and his firing helps drive that point home.

The focus, energy, obsession and fanaticism need to be directed toward one and only one goal: the coming White Republic. All else is mere diversion or dead end.

As Buchanan himself has more or less said, it’s not that he changed, but rather that America changed. There was in fact a culture war… and his side lost. The culture moves inexorably to the left. Once mainstream conservatism abandoned the defense of whites as a people, this march to the left was inevitable. A new people require a new narrative, new heroes, and a new worldview.

In defense of Hitler and his National Socialism

The Second World War was the great watershed in the collapse of the West. Had any major Western nation—in particular, Britain, France, or America—had the integrity to resist the Jews and avoid being drawn into their worldwide conspiracy against Germany, there would have been no world war, but only a war between National Socialist Germany and the Marxist Soviet Union. Germany would have won, Marxism would have been eradicated, and it would have been the beginning of the end for the Jews everywhere.

Instead, Western men were persuaded by their bought politicians, their Judeo-Christian priests, and the Jewish manipulators of public opinion in their midst to take up arms against their German brothers in an unholy crusade to eradicate National Socialism, so that the Jews and the Marxist cancer they had unleashed on the world could survive. Before the Second World War the West was still viable; afterward it was not.

The catastrophe of 1945, with the triumph of the Jew and his allies, made inevitable the opening up of the immigration floodgates for non-Whites into Britain and the United States; the destruction of American White public schools; the enactment of laws curtailing White freedom of association and the rights of White employers and renters (and with them the rights of White employees and tenants); the rise of feminism, homosexuality, and drug use; the breakdown of the traditional family structure; a soaring miscegenation rate; and the displacement of healthy White art, music, literature and drama by a Judeo-democratic-Hollywood schlock culture. It also led to the metastasis of the Marxist cancer throughout huge areas of Europe and the rise of malignant Zionist power in Palestine—a power which surely would be the instigator of the Third World War.

It behooves those of us who still hope that enough healthy genes for a new beginning can be salvaged from the coming chaos, therefore, to understand everything we can about the Second World War; about its preeminent personality, Adolf Hitler; and about his ideology, National Socialism, from the eradication of which logically followed the evils briefly accounted above. That’s why National Vanguard often has articles on these subjects and will do so in the future.

The modern understanding of democracy is even more tyrannical than what Plato referred to as the second worst form of civil government. Control over the mass media and the civil school system brainwashes the youth and electorate as a whole to support the agenda of the System. The billions of dollars pumped into buying off politicians and ostracizing “political dissidents” mean that to achieve even a basic level of political power is nearly impossible for any Traditionalist.

The true tyranny of modernity is in the fact that the rules can be easily modified to create a permanent elite, who will crush any challenges to their power structure and creature comfort.

The tyranny of the modern democratic system is not limited to only the United States; it is pervasive throughout the entire Western World. In the early 1930’s, the elites were horrified that nationalism and racial pride took the world by storm. The Jewish capitalist and banking elite financed the beginnings of the Soviet Union and backed countless Marxist movements around the globe. In response to this and the failures of secularism and modernity, revolutionary forces began to organize for the preservation of their culture and their people.

From the nationalists in China to the National Socialists in Germany, peoples around the globe strove to throw off the shackles of Bolshevism that like a cancer was festering throughout the nations of the Earth. Using democracy, nations chose leaders and movements that would lead them forward to freedom from the globalists and the ability to fulfill their own God-ordained destinies. With the blood of countless millions on their hands, the elites decided that through fire, bombs, and intimidation that this nationalist worldwide movement must be crushed. From the raising of the Red flag in Berlin to the surrender of America’s own sovereignty, the elites took a stranglehold over most of the globe. With a battle cry of “never again”, the System has declared that no matter what a people believe or how they wish to run their own affairs, they must be aligned with the New World Order.

The Greek nationalist party, Golden Dawn, is the latest proof of how the message of nationalism and ethnic solidarity is coming. The elites will do anything they can to destroy any credible nationalist threat. Golden Dawn has risen from being less than one percent of the electorate several years ago, to storming Parliament with over seven percent of the vote in recent elections. With programs to feed and clothe poor Greeks, a push for border security and getting rid of the hordes of illegal immigrants infesting Greece, an alliance with socially conservative Greek Orthodox Christians and hardline secular nationalists, and a passionate stand against international Jewry and the mainstream political elites who have time and time again sold out the Greek people, it is no question why Golden Dawn is succeeding at the polls. Through using the democratic process and truly acting in the best interests of the Greek people, Golden Dawn began polling poll results as high as fifteen percent in the past few weeks, demonstrating a doubling of supporters in just the several months since the next election. This is where the System had to step in.

It began with Jewish groups around the world pulling the worn out “anti-Semite” card on Golden Dawn. Nationalists simply no longer wish to be exploited by the international Jewish cabal. Golden Dawn MP’s spoke openly about the degree of Jewish control over the Greek economy, the European Union, and the globalist agenda. The belief in sovereignty of the Greek nation and Greek people from parasitic bankers and capitalists put Golden Dawn on the elites hit list. Nationalists have to made an example of.

The Greek government was harassed and pushed by outside forces and the global choir of “anti-racism” to shut down Golden Dawn. Recently when an alleged Golden Dawn member got into a bar fight with an infamous “anti-racist” rapper and stabbed him to death, the System had the “cause” to declare Golden Dawn a criminal organization and began rounding up its leadership. One wonders how quickly all mainstream parties would be banned if the actions of one or two members became cause for the government to arrest all of the leadership. My old neighborhood in Baltimore alone would have disqualified the Democratic Party on a nightly basis if a felony were grounds for dissolving a political party.

The desires of the people who had elected Golden Dawn to Parliament were irrelevant. Tradition and the law were moot. With thuggery rarely witnessed in the West since the Jewish commissars of the Soviet NKVD, the Greek government sent in shock troops to  raid “the homes of Golden Dawn politicians across Athens, Michaloliakos and five of his MPs were seized. Fifteen other senior party activists, including a female police officer, were taken into custody accused of fomenting violence as members of a criminal organisation.” In the hours following this original round of arrests, warrants were issued for additional Party members and the systematic crackdown intensified. Armed with automatic weapons and covered faces, police went to kick in door after door of those deemed “politically unreliable.” The center Right coalition and the Left and communists have united together to stop Golden Dawn. International praise from Jewish organizations and the European Union have flooded Greece for working to stamp out the spread of nationalism.

Public Order Minister, Nikos Dendias declared to the world that “Golden Dawn tried to test the endurance of democracy, today it got an answer from state justice.” The irony of arresting democratically elected lawmakers simply for their beliefs and then trumpeting values of democracy, were seemingly lost on the Mr. Dendias. Beliefs that aren’t deemed kosher are simply not allowed to exist in the tyranny of 21st century democracy. They will ban us, beat us, and even kill us, and that is why we cannot work to reform this System.

The attempt to revive the United States or the nations of Europe in their current state is a necrophiliac exercise in futility. In the founding home of Western democracy and civil government, and with a boot on the neck of nationalists democracy has officially died. Christ did not attempt to negotiate with the moneylenders or get put in a position of power in the temple, he flipped over the table and beat those who were poisoning the moral well of the people around him. Traditionalists in Greece must take to the streets and dismantle this corrupt and wicked system. The blood of patriots and martyrs will run in Athens, but that is the only way to secure the existence of the Greek people. Golden Dawn is facing a communist coup, it is time to organize and prepare to fight to destroy this System just as other allied Traditionalists must around the globe. Francisco Franco and the Spanish nationalists realized that only through fighting the System could the Traditions of the blessed Church and its nation survive.

We cannot negotiate with our foes, we cannot work within the System, and we must stand behind the brave men and women of Golden Dawn behind the wire.

GD symbolAntonis Samaras, the Greek Prime Minister flew to New York, sat down from breakfast with the American Jewish Committee, and told them to loud applause that he was going to do “whatever it takes” to eradicate Golden Dawn and “deracinate” the Greek people.

The American Jewish Committee then released a statement saying “the forces of violent extremism are a threat to society and will not be tolerated.”

The Chief of the Golden Dawn Nikolaos G. Michaloliakos has been arrested, along with at least three or four MPs while about thirty executives led the General Police Directorate of Attica after warrants were issued for “criminal organization.”

Government spokesman Simos Kedikoglou told The Associated Press, hinting that Saturday’s arrests were the culmination of a long strategy to deal with Golden Dawn as a criminal, not a political force. In other words, simply declare Golden Dawn’s political views illegal, since they are too popular. Essentially, it’s a criminal act not to be a leftist. “The prime minister and the government were determined to deal with Golden Dawn solely through the justice system… We have succeeded in stripping them of their political cover and deal with them as what they really are, a criminal organization,” Kedikoglou said. This is democracy: either go along with the System or be branded a criminal.

That’s the rub, isn’t it? Any successful creation of a party that challenges the establishment will be declared illegal. They are branded as criminals against the state for merely having political views and ideologies that fly in the face of the establishment, and have succeeded in gathering support in the populace. Any threat to the continuance of the establishment’s power will be dealt with, not through elections, but by literally declaring any successful opposition to be criminal in nature.

Successful is the key. GD endured the media onslaught and character assassination. The people did not believe the lies the press and government were feeding them—because GD was actually feeding them! When GD was viewed as a minor annoyance, TPTB were happy to handle them in the traditional means, i.e. media attacks, bad press, and harassment (such as any grass roots political party or organization). But because GD weathered these attacks, and continued to gain the support of the people, now we see how the established power deals with them as an actual threat: Arbitrarily making new laws and statutes, ignoring established laws and procedure as they see fit, and bringing the full weight of a corrupt system to dismantle the will of the people.

Aryan female beauty has been my inspiration to defend the race from the anti-white zeitgeist. However, the blogger Iranian for Aryans is so right—degeneracy sums up all that is happening to the West—that soon I will move the image of Botticelli’s Venus from the sidebar’s top to a secondary place and put, instead, an illustration evoking military Sparta. After all, it was the Spartan males the ones who defended their women with their entire Honor and often even with their lives.

If at least some of us fail to develop such ascetic hypermorality by becoming what might be called military priests of the fourteen words—as Pierce so desperately dreamt in the last chapter of his last book—, the fair race will go extinct.

I wish I could carry the torch originally lit by Pierce and say now something to the effect of, “Contact me, either here or by email” but, alas, in these degenerate times the problem with starting an organization will always be finding a sponsor—at least a single wealthy white man with Honor on the entire planet!

Who are the real haters?

As I have written before, the difference between Adolf Hitler and Soviet leaders, and now all white western leaders, is love. Hitler loved his people and wanted a better culture, a better nation to serve his people. Hitler worked tirelessly towards that end. Former Soviet and current white, western, leaders hate their people and work tirelessly to destroy them. That fundamental difference explains the current policies seen in action throughout western civilization versus the lost policies of National Socialism. At their foundation, current policies are constructed by a people of hate. One only needs read their “holy” book to see the virulent hatred they display towards all outsiders.

Until white people and leaders relearn this love, a love of themselves, their race, their people, the destruction of white culture will continue. The white man doesn’t need to fight or revolt, he needs to love. The white man needs to love himself, his race and his culture. Until that happens all other efforts will be for naught. It is such love that will serve to diminish the virulent hatred foisted on them by the people of hate.
